Preview of the upcoming Winter 2012 Issue
The YJoLT Editorial Board is pleased to announce a special preview publication of the upcoming Winter 2012 issue of Volume 15. This preview features an essay by Professors Brian J. Love and Christopher B. Seaman on the emerging conflict between patent rights and trade secrets since Congress amended patent law to remove the enforcement mechanisms for failure to disclose the "best mode" of an invention on its patent application. Love and Seaman explore the likely repercussions of this legislative change in their pithy and well-argued essay, "Best Mode Trade Secrets", now available for download on our home page.
The full Winter 2012 issue of Volume 15 will be published in January, featuring new articles on legislating for rapidly changing technologies from Professor Michael Birnhack, constitutional protections for information privacy from Christina Moniodis, and anonymity and the First Amendment from Professors Jason M. Shepard and Genelle I. Belmas. As always, we are proud to be one of the leading venues for the latest law and technology scholarship.
